Berkshire NEMBA Trail Maps
We have two maps of the best trails in the Pittsfield State Forest
- Family Trails (Easy Trails, not much climbing, few rocks and roots)
Recommended Route:- Park at Lulu Cascade Parking Area
- Chipmunk (no sign yet)
- Straight Across on Jamie's Landing (signed)
- Straight on Ruth's Corner (shown on the map as Ruth's Ramble but we renamed it) (signed)
- Left on ATV Trail, then quick left on You Are Here Trail (signed)
- Straight on to Barry Rock (no sign at the intersection)
- Straight on to Honey Bear Loop (signed)
- Left at the Y after weaving up through the rocks.(no sign)
- Left at the top of a hill where the trail Y's again (no sign)
- Follow Northern Side of Honeybear Loop all the way around to Dublin's Run
- Straight on to Dublin's Run (signed)
- Straight on to Wild Turkey (signed)
- Right on ATV Trail across new NEMBA Bridge
- Left/Straight up hill on ATV trail.
- Right on Deer Hill (signed)
- Left on Racoon (no sign)
- Left on Coyote Hill (no sign)
- Straight across ATV trail (no sign)
- Right on Opt In (signed)
- Right on Whirlpool (signed)
- Right on Bail Out (signed)
- Left on Mellow Muffin and back to top of Coyote Hill (no sign)
- Slightly Left on to unnamed trails over toward Headquarters (no sign)
- Straight Across Entrance Road
- Trail through the Pines to lower parking lot
- Over bridge and up Woods Ramble (no sign)
- Right on Vosburgh (signed)
- Bridge over Parker Brook
- Right through campground
- Straight across paved road and down dirt road
- Left on Telephone Line Trail back to Lulu Picnic Field/Parking
- Family Trails + Turner Trail and others
Recommended Route:- Climb Honwee Circuit Trail
- Left on Taconic Skyline ATV Trail
- Right on Berry Pond Road (paved)
- Right on William Berry Way
- Left on Taconic Crest
- Right on Berry Pond Road
- Right on Taconic Crest at Azalea Fields sign
- Straight over to Lookout
- Left on Berry Pond Road
- Right on Boyscout Trail
- Straight Across on Turner Trail
- Look for a Left off the old Turner Trail on to the new Turner Trail (which is singletrack with lots of switchbacks)
